The Resident Opportunities and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) grant program aims to provide supportive services and resident empowerment activities to public housing residents. The primary goal of ROSS is to help residents achieve economic self-sufficiency by connecting them with resources such as job training, financial literacy programs, and educational opportunities.
FSS Grant
The Gainesville Housing Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program is designed to create a pathway to economic stability for residents by providing supportive counseling, financial education and credit workshops. FSS program participants work one-on-one with a GH staff to develop a plan to achieve their financial goals and connect them with valuable community resources.
CORES Certification
The Certified Organization for Resident Engagement & Services (CORES) Certification recognizes organizations that have developed a robust commitment, capacity, and competency in providing resident services coordination in affordable rental housing.
