Housing Voucher Program Waitlist open

The Department of Community Affairs (DCA) is excited to announce the opening of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program Tenant Based and Project Based Waiting List
The waiting list is open Tuesday, October 17th, 2023, at 12:00 am to Friday, October 20, 2023, at 11:59 pm.
We will select applicants via a lottery system to ensure a fair and impartial process. This means that all applications received during the open window will have an equal chance of selection. Once the application period closes, we randomly select 5,000 applications to be placed on the Tenant Based Waiting List. Families are limited to one application per household.
Applying is easy and takes just a few minutes! You only need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with an internet connection. No documents need to be uploaded. You only need to enter basic family information into our convenient application portal.

Please call no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday October 20, 2023, to ensure they have enough time to return your call. Please speak clearly and slowly.
