Walton Harbor's Opening is Grand!

Walton Harbor is now officially ‘open’ after the grand opening ribbon cutting on August 3, 2022.

 

Not only is Walton Harbor open, but it’s already fully leased and is a thriving new community in the Lakeshore Mall area.

 

Even as residents are settling in, construction is underway for the next phase across the street with Legacy at Walton Summit, which will offer housing for those 55 years and above. Legacy construction is slated to be complete in early 2023. The Legacy phase also offers 81 units.

 

The 333-unit complex replaces the demolished Tower Heights apartments, with its physically obsolete 163 units. Walton Harbor will serve families living below 80 percent of the median income. The project is funded through the low-income housing tax credit program, CDBG funds from City of Gainesville and GHA funds. 2023.
